Solar-ready modular satellite gateway with a world of connectivity possibilities


The Hiberband satellite network brings affordable connectivity to every corner of the world for the Internet of Things. Besides our direct-to-satellite network access for sensors, Hiber now introduces Hiberband Via to launch IoT solutions with off-the-shelf LoRaWAN wireless sensor devices that benefit from the near global coverage of third party satellite networks.

The Hiberband Via gateway is a comprehensive modular gateway solution that offers IoT satellite connectivity to wireless sensors through third party satellite networks.

Powered by a solar panel, the Hiberband Via is designed to operate independently from power grids, which are often unavailable in remote locations. The gateway’s enhanced data transmission capabilities provides data service for up to 500 connected sensors.

  • When connecting an external 12/24V battery, the internal battery is shut down


  • Operating temperature range: -20°C/+60°C
  • Charging the battery below 0°C will reduce battery lifetime
  • Ingress protection level: IP67 with pressure relief valve
