Gesa spent several years in academic research before entering the E&P industry, where she has worked 12 years in various positions. She has led multi-disciplinary teams in exploration and business development projects in different countries. Gesa was also involved in large international projects in global exploration as well as on strategic corporate level. In 2020 Gesa joined DGMK – a non-profit society that offers a neutral platform for scientific-technological exchange between research and industry, coordinating a network of experts from industry and academia.
After studying Petroleum engineering, Khaidir worked for Petronas as A Well Intervention Engineer. He gained more than 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry focusing on well integrity and well intervention. Khaidir developed a strong technical knowledge as a Staff Engineer focusing on well intervention. He is working at MPM to ensure operational excellence and prudent well integrity engineering practices to support the sustainability of well productivity and maximise well production recovery.
Will is a professional engineer providing strategic, technical, and regulatory advisory services for the oil & gas and renewable energy industries. He is an expert in well integrity operations, with a specialization in the monitoring, diagnosis, and repair of wellbore gas migration issues. Will is the President of the Canadian WIAS, and sits as a member of several technical committees including well integrity management and well design with the Canadian Standards Association. Will has also worked for numerous operators in North America and spent 5 years in leadership roles.
Tom Krikke has a background in international management. He joined Hiber early on and quickly became an expert in IoT solutions. As the Commercial Director for Oil & Gas at Hiber he is continuously speaking with all the actors in the industry. He has a deep understanding of the current challenges of the Oil & Gas industry across the globe, especially around well monitoring. Tom’s unique perspective from within Hiber gives him insight into well monitoring challenges around the world, and the different ways IoT technology can provide solutions.
